Let’s get real.

I’m a pastor’s daughter.
Which means I grew up in a world where image was everything — and you definitely couldn’t get caught puffing on anything but holy incense. But I had a thing for rebellion... and cigarettes. I know, I know — smoking is bad. We all have our vices. Yours might be ice cream at 2am or texting your ex. Mine? Cigarettes.

And while I’ve spent years trying to quit, I’ve spent even more years hiding the evidence — especially from people who are quick to judge, like that guy I met in my 30s who clocked my dark lips and immediately put me in the “she-smokes-so-she’s-trouble” box.

But dark lips don’t lie — they tell on you even when your perfume and mints don’t. And for people like me, who still need to look professional, polished, or Insta-ready, I needed a fix.

So I made one.
